Albe De Coker is one of Belgium's leading offset sheetfed printers.
To maintain this position we keep investing in the most modern machinery. In spring 2011 we install three brand new KBA Rapida 106 presses. A 10 colour, an 8 colour and a 5 colour machine with in-line varnish.
All these presses are equipped with a simultaneous plate change system, allowing us to change all plates in less than 1 minute! Moreover each sheet is colour-controlled in-line to assure a reliable print result.
Modern machinery result in an efficient and reliable high quality production.
Modern machinery also results in a sustainable production:
- 30% lower energy consumption
- less paper waste, 60 % less paper needed for make-ready
- use of isopropyl alcohol is reduced to less than 2.5%
We use bio-inks and energy is produced by our solar panels.
Our production process is ruled by ISO12647.
